Frequently asked questions:

1.  Who can be in choir? 

     Any Hayfield Elementary 4th or 5th grader can be in choir.

 

2.  Can I be in choir if I'm already in band? 

     Yes, band and choir meet at different times during the school week.  In fact, we           have a lot of kids that participate in both.

 

3.  Do I have to be a great singer to be in choir? 

     You don't have to be a great singer to be in choir.  You just have to have a good 

     attitude and the desire to become a better musician.

 

4.  How often do we have choir practice? 

     Choir practice is held once a week for 20 minutes.

5.  When do we perform? 

     We perform at the HES Holiday Concert and HES Spring Concert.  We also  sing "The

     Star-Spangled Banner" and "The Hayfield School Song" at a few sporting events

     throughout the school year.

 

6.   Do we go on any field trips? 

     Yes, each year we try to take a trip to see a live musical on stage.  We also go

     Christmas Caroling at the end of December.
